Denise has over 20 years experience in various Controllership and Consultative roles in Energy, Oil & Gas, Business Services, Manufacturing, Retail, and Financial Services. Denise has extensive experience in SEC & financial reporting, oil and gas upstream operations, Sarbanes Oxley implementation and budgeting and forecasting.

Throughout her experience, Denise has performed internal and external financial reporting duties for several, large and mid-cap public companies and has provided technical advice on complex topics such as 144A private placements, IPO's, purchase price and valuation and derivative and fair value issues. Denise has also been engaged to provide carve out financial statements and Big 4 professional services.

Prior to joining AXIA Resources, Denise was Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Rosetta Resources Inc., a public oil and natural gas exploration and production company, where she had responsibility over Accounting and Land Administration. Prior to Rosetta, Denise has held Controllership roles for a variety of public and private companies where she performed financial reporting, initial ledger and financial statement set-up, audit, reconciliations, investment proposals and budgeting and forecasting. She has also served on a Board of Directors in the capacity of Secretary/Treasurer. Denise began her career at Deloitte, in the Assurance practice.

Denise earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree, with honors, in Finance from Texas A&M University.
